The initial enquiry for this project was simple;

“I have a concrete lintel above our entrance door acting as a shelter and I was wondering how we can remove and replace with an oak frame canopy’’

This is a common enquiry for us but removing the lintel could have structural implications as they are set back into the main brickwork. We suggested to the client building around it, not only building an oak frame canopy to wrap around the lintel we also cladded the underside to complete the oak feel.
